"Lass is More" Talks Small Films with John Chi, Director of "Tentacle 8"

Sure, it takes years to go from pre-production to opening day on a massive, effects driven, film.  But, small films can take years from that first moment through distribution as well.  Of course, the challenges that a small film faces are inherently different than a big film (at least to some extent), but that doesn’t always speed up the process.

Today, “Lass is More” has a talk with John Chi, the writer/director/producer of “Tentacle 8,” which is now available on VOD (as of late June).  An espionage thriller, Chi shot “Tentacle 8” well before any of us knew the name Edward Snowden.

Chi takes us through the process, both the highs and the lows, and provides great insight into what it takes to get a small movie out in front of the public.
