There’s a general sense about “fun-size” candy bars that there is in fact very little that’s fun about them — they are, simply put, not terribly enjoyable.  They offer the sense of what is there in a regular-sized bar, but not the full experience.  This year’s “Candyman” movie is rather like that.

You see, “Candyman” takes on a whole lot of weighty issues and then tries to cram all of it into a 90 minute slasher film.  It’s just too condensed for one to really make sense of it; for the whole thing to really be explored to its fullest.
