Now out on digital is Zach Cregger’s “Barbarian.” A thriller, “Barbarian” is one of those movies which can easily be described as consisting of two distinct halves. When the switch from the first of these halves to the second takes place, it is almost as though someone spliced in the wrong movie.
Of course, one quickly realizes that such isn’t the case. Cregger manages to pull off the abrupt change with help from his cast, including Georgina Campbell, Justin Long, and Bill Skarsgård. We talk about exactly how that works on today’s podcast.
