Perhaps it is silly to remind everyone out there that good intentions don’t always lead to a good movie, but that’s what we’re doing today. “The Circle,” which stars Emma Watson and Tom Hanks, offers up some really important points about the perils of our digital world and social media and what it means to always be online. However, it also sports some terrible leaps of logic and generally overstates things in order to drive the point home. Rather than making the film stronger, these issues put a serious damper on the entire affair.
