“Phantom Thread,” “Molly’s Game,” and “Up in Smoke” hit Blu-ray

Some weeks are just good weeks for Blu-ray releases, and this is one of them. Two great movies from last year and one great one from 40 years ago are all available on Blu-ray as of today.

I know that “Up in Smoke” isn’t featured in the picture above and it’s talked about less on the podcast, but I really do think it’s an utterly wonderful film. Start to finish, it’s completely hysterical. Don’t take my discussing it less as any sort of drag on it. The movie is a true classic. It also costs less on Blu-ray than either of the other two, so if you’re on a budget and want something you can enjoy over and over again, that may be the way to go.
