Sometimes we sit down to watch movies and simply cannot escape their echoes.  We look and we see the movies reflected in our world, for good or for ill.

So, this week we’re looking at “BlacKkKlansman” and “Midaq Alley,” two new-to-Blu-ray movies that, in light of the rhetoric used by some in this country, will make you shake your head and weep.  Each of the films is, undoubtedly powerful on its own, but taken in conjunction with one another and the state of our world become something more.
