Director Mandie Fletcher on “Patrick,” Pugs, and… Peter Davison?

Up this week on the podcast we have an interview with Mandie Fletcher, whose latest effort, “Patrick,” is currently in theaters and on demand.  Fletcher has directed such television shows as “Black-Adder II,” “Black Adder the Third,” “Only Fools and Horses,” and “Absolutely Fabulous.”

“Patrick,” which Fletcher also wrote with Vanessa Davies and Paul de Vos, centers on a woman who inherits a dog, Patrick, which she wants absolutely nothing to do with.  It is a lighthearted comedy and Fletcher delves into exactly how it came into being.  She also, kindly, reflects on her career successes and what has led to them.
