Facts are only one part of a story.  Feelings are crucial as well.  A set of facts only help so much, there has to be something there, some sense of emotional depth, to complement those facts.  But what about the reverse?

Out this week on Blu-ray is the Billie Holiday biopic, “Lady Sings the Blues.”  Starring Diana Ross, the movie features plenty of emotion, plenty of those necessary feelings, what it seems to lack is the factual depth.
