In high school we read Tim O’Brien’s “The Things They Carried.” The book has stayed with me from that time to this. Now, the author is at the center of a new documentary, “The War and Peace of Tim O’Brien.”
For this project, director Aaron Matthews follows O’Brien as the latter returns to the literary world for his latest, “Dad’s Maybe Book.” O’Brien’s first book since he had children, it is a look at, amongst other things, family and what we leave behind.
Take a listen below to what O’Brien had to say and don’t forget to subscribe. We’re available download at Apple Podcasts, iHeartRadio, Amazon Music/Audible and more.
