Not Quite the Video Store

We are stepping away from our new release of the week/interview format here this week in favor of a discussion of streaming services. No, they’re not as good as a video store of old. They are organized badly and do in fact make it harder to find movies, and exclusivity makes things worse, but that doesn’t mean that they’re irredeemable.

In fact, if you manage to slowly but surely make your way through an a-z catalog for one of the services, you can find some great stuff in there. I watched “Midnight Run” for the first time ever last week, and only knew HBO Max had it available because I spent the time to methodically go through everything they had when they first launched.

We discuss all that and more on today’s podcast. So click play below to listen and don’t forget to subscribe. We’re available download at Apple Podcasts, iHeartRadioAmazon Music/Audible  and more.
