We Dive in as SpongeBob Goes “On the Run”

That fellow who lives in a pineapple under the sea (SpongeBob SquarePants) premiered his Nickelodeon series back in 1999. Now, here in 2021, his third big movie, “The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run,” is out on Blu-ray.

Although Josh has never been a devotee of the series, he decided to check out this new movie, diving down into Bikini Bottom, and drinking in all it has to offer. This week’s episode of the podcast then is about the new movie, what it has to offer, what it’s like to jump into a franchise this late in the game, and more. Yes, when we go under the sea, thoughts bubble back up to the surface.
