It may have been delayed by Covid, but Kenneth Branagh’s second Hercule Poirot film, “Death on the Nile,” was in theaters earlier this year and is out today on Blu-ray and streaming. That makes this this the perfect moment to swoon over Branagh’s movies and hope for more.
Yes, these two whodunits feel as though they were built with Josh in mind, which isn’t to say that they are perfect, just that there seems to have been an attempt to tick all his boxes. Not only that, it’s just possible that this movie beats its predecessor, “Murder on the Orient Express” by a smidge.
