“Lass is More” Looks at “A United Kingdom” and Hatred

For reasons that Josh doesn’t understand, people in this world hate each other.  That isn’t to say that he doesn’t understand some hatred (like the way the bile rises in his mouth when someone states they love the Red Sox), but he doesn’t get the all too prevalent hatred of people based on things like their religion or their gender or their sexual orientation or their race.

The couple at the center of “A United Kingdom,” which is based on a true story, faced more than one kind of hatred, and we’re going to talk about that movie–a powerful film–today.
