Earlier this year, as you may recall, we delved into the anime version of “Ghost in the Shell.”  Well, with the live action version now arriving on Blu-ray, the time has come for us to talk about this particular story — it is a movie which looks great but which finds itself lacking the story department.

Yes, the end of that sentence could just as well be ascribed to “Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets,” and that, too, is a part of our talk today.  So, sit back, listen, and enjoy.
