Whoever said that the apocalypse had to be dark? Clearly director Tim Miller and the folks behind the newest “Terminator” film, “Terminator: Dark Fate.” Sure, metal monstrosities are out there in our future and ready to kill one and all, but we ask, is that any reason that jokes can’t be repeatedly cracked?
Look at “Zombieland: Double Tap” (written in part by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick who worked with Miller on “Deadpool”), Woody Harrelson, Emma Stone, Jesse Eisenberg, Dakota Fanning, and the rest of the gang are out there, cracking wise as they’re cracking skulls. There may be zombies in them thar hills, but that doesn’t mean there’s no time for a joke.
