Is “The New Mutants” the last time we’re going to see the current filmic version of the X-Men universe?  Conventional wisdom suggests that it is, but that’s not what we’re debating this week (we need not enter that fray).  No, our concerns this time out are much more mundane, namely, where exactly did the “New Mutants” story go wrong.  Trust us though on this much — it did go wrong, so very wrong.

Take a listen, hear what we have to say, and probably don’t rush out to get a copy and throw it under the tree for a loved one.  Maybe, if that person is desperate to have it for completion’s sake, sure, it might be worth it, but then again, maybe not.
