“Love and Monsters” and Covid

Arriving on Blu-ray and 4K UHD next week is the movie “Love and Monsters.” It came out theatrically (if that means anything in 2020) this October and if you’re like me, you missed it. You just missed it. Well, if you missed it, you missed out, because it’s really hugely enjoyable.

Taking place post-apocalypse, the movie has a lot to say about both being alone and being with others. It has some lessons we can apply to the Covid-19 pandemic and our reactions to it. No, it’s not the same, but that doesn’t mean we should avoid its lessons.
