“Grizzly II” was shot in the early ’80s. Or, part of it was shot then. A producer left the movie, the money ran out, and decades later a different producer of the film, Suzanne Csikos Nagy, returned to the project to get it done. That movie is out on VOD this week.
Although we don’t really recommend the film, it being completed now poses questions that interest us. Included amongst these are ones about what it means to finish the unfinished or to refinish what was done already once: what does it mean for the movie and what does it mean for the audience and what does it mean for the world?
