There is so much to love about “Encanto.” This is a film filled with great performances and tremendous songs. It is fun and funny. But, at its core, this is a movie that explores what it means to truly reveal who you are, to lay your deepest, darkest, fears out there and give others the power to accept or reject you. Forget whatever other superpowers the Madrigal family may have, doing that takes real strength.
